How To Know What Size Necklace You Need

When you’re working out which necklace size would be best for you, it’s important to think about the kind of look you want to go for; maybe you’d prefer a short chain that can be worn discreetly under a collar, or perhaps you’d like a longer statement necklace.
If you’re shopping for a loved one, think about whether you want them to wear the necklace close to their heart, or if you’re looking for something they can wear over a t-shirt or jumper to showcase their personality. Would they prefer something short and stylish, or long and chunky?
You might want a special necklace to wear on your wedding day, or a chain that can be layered with others to create a unique look. Think about the necklines of the tops or dresses that you tend to wear, and keep this in mind when you’re considering necklace lengths.

Measure Your Wrist
Size your cuffs and bangles to fit snugly, and your link and chain bracelets to fit slightly loosely to allow for movement.
-
Use a flexible measuring tape or length of string.
-
Wrap it around the thickest part of the wrist (usually at the wrist joint). If using string, mark the point on the string where the ends meet with a pen. If you are creating a bracelet stack, measure the point on your arm where you’ll wear each bracelet.
-
Lay the string on a flat surface and use a ruler to measure the length (in inches or centimetres) up to the mark. Compare your measurement to the Tiffany size chart above to determine your bracelet size. If you are between sizes, opt for the larger size.

Bracelets should be worn with a slight looseness to allow for movement without slipping off. They can be worn alone for a simple look or layered with other bracelets for a more stylish appearance.
Bangles should be worn loosely so they can slide up and down your wrist easily. Mix different widths, textures, and metals for a stylish, layered look.
